As a Pest Control Technology college student of industry icon Dr. Austin M. Frishman and attaining my bachelors in entomology from the University of Georgia, I was fortunate to be well educated with years of real world industry experience upon graduation and beginning my industry career. Simply stated, I was already a good bug/pest killer but I wasn’t well versed with all aspects of business operations.

While I knew how to successfully resolve all sorts of tough pest problems, what I didn’t know was how to operate a profitable business because they just didn’t teach us that in college. Working in the industry we’re required to attain continuing education credits to maintain our professional licenses however, business courses are not usually provided at industry conferences and seminars largely because no CEU credit is approved for such courses.

Having interacted with thousands of pest professionals these many years it became abundantly clear that the need for business operations related training and information for the overall benefit of industry colleagues was not being fulfilled from the traditional resources.

PJB Pest Management Pro provides business topics information and education to meet this need.

The business topics presented herein are the result of subject matter requests and questions submitted from industry colleagues many of which have been presented and discussed at PJB Business Development Workshops. This information is presented in articles and videos for your benefit. Please feel free to submit any questions you may have such that topics of interest to you may be adequately addressed for your benefit.
